Colorful glass beads of all sizes are used to make the butterfly on a mauve velvet coin purse. It is lined with floral calico. It is 4 1/2 inches X 5 inches with a 5 inch beaded handle. The bag is 9 X 11 inches oblong with about 12 inch fringes hanging from the bottom. The bandolier strap is 45 inches long so it can fit over the head and across the shoulder. The bag and bandolier are beaded with sizes 8/0, 9/0 and 10/0 glass beads on a deep purple velvet. They are lined with a lavender wool material. The picture shows the artist with a first place ribbon received for this bag at the Eiteljorg Indian Art Market, Indianapolis, Indiana in June 2010. A bag of this type can be ordered in the color and design you want. A recent one with eagles on it was just completed. 1/2 down at time of order, and the balance when it is done. At least six months time is needed to complete.

This outfit has won art awards at the Woodland Indian Art Show, Oneida, WI, Eiteljorg Museum Indian Art Show, Indianapolis, Indiana, and the Cherokee Indian Art Show, Catoosa, Oklahoma. It includes a woman's shirt, leggings, skirt, moccasins, yoke, earrings, Glengarry hat, cuffs, belt and purse. The beadwork is all done in the Iroquois Raised Beadwork style. It is a size medium. The moccasins are size 7 1/2.

All moccasins are made with buckskin and black velvet on the vamps and cuffs unless otherwise specified. Send an outline of your foot with your shoe size marked on it. Specify the colors you want and the design (strawberries, turtle, wolf, bird, floral, etc.). Send one-half the price of the moccasin in order to get the order started.

Sets can include any of the products listed in this section. This particular set is crystal and lavender seedbeads on navy blue velvet. The large adult yoke is heavily fringed, and both the front and back are similarly beaded. The yoke was priced at $350 and the purse at $300. A smaller child's yoke and bag could be ordered for $200-$300.

Iroquois style skirt is a wrap around with the beadwork along the edge, and with a major design on the front flap. The leggings have an opening in the front with matching beadwork around the bottom and outlining the opening. The turtle design was selected by the client and is on the skirt and the vamp of the moccasins. The material for the skirt and leggings are a washable, light material, but black or a colored velvet is frequently requested. The moccasins are buckskin with a beaded velvet vamp and cuff. The skirt and leggings are $375 and the moccasins, depending on the adult size, would cost from $200 to $250, fully beaded as above.

A 3x3 in. picture fits in this frame. The size of the frame is about 4x7 in. and can come in the shape of an animal or traditional design. Beadwork is on black or colored velvet with calico backing to match.

Each apron is sized to fit. Need measurements for waist and waist to mid-calf. This apron is on navy blue wool, with white satin ribbon and white opaque beads. The design is the Tree of Life on the back of the world turtle. Skydomes are beaded across the bottom. Animals, florals, birds, strawberries, etc. can be put on an apron depending on the client's request. Each apron is from $200-$250 ea, so a set of aprons is about $500.
